At 70-80% quality, the visual difference is almost undetectable while the file size reduces by 50-70%. Go below 50% for aggressive compression where some quality loss may be visible.
Why can't I compress PNG to smaller than JPEG? +
PNG is a lossless format, so our browser-based compressor works best with JPEG and WebP. For PNGs, convert to JPEG/WebP format using the output format selector above for the best size reduction.
